For Arbitration & Mediation Services Offered:
Costs are set per case and per hearing and are usually equally split by the parties; unless the parties choose otherwise or is awarded in the case of an arbitration decision.
Non-refundable initial administration fee of $250 per case, with 2 parties.
Non-refundable initial administration fee of $350 per party in cases with 3 or more parties.
Decision writing time will be charged at hearing session rates for actual time taken.
Hearing session charges -
2 - party case $500 1/2 day or less, $1000 per day (approx. 7 hrs.)
3 - party cases $750 1/2 day or less, $1500 per day (approx. 7 hrs.)
4 or more parties - hourly rate to be negotiated
Fees may be charged for postponement and cancellations of hearing sessions.
Parties may provide hearing location or may choose a neutral facility upon which all parties agree. Costs of such hearing facility will be born by the parties.
Travel- within the central San Francisco Bay Area:
There is no travel charge for hearings within 90 minutes driving time of the office.
Over 90 minutes range, mileage is charged at the permissible tax rate -- approximately 36 cents per mile. Reimbursement is requested for all tolls and parking charges as actually incurred. Travel time is charged at $100 per hour.
Travel- outside of the central San Francisco Bay Area or which require an overnight stay:
Reimbursement is requested for costs as actually incurred. Travel days are charged at the reduced rate of $800 per day.
For Facilitation & Training Services:
There is a complimentary 1 hour initial consultation.
Services thereafter are negotiated.
